The Book of Mormon is a must watch as the brilliant show

For South Park fans, The Book of Mormon is a must watch as the brilliant show is a superb amalgamation of both satirical and dark humour. With tight and gripping script, the show is a superb amalgamation of highly musical score and sterling performances. If you are a music lover then the show will be a complete enjoyable experience. The show is enjoyed by people across the globe and still running with packed houses.


The two hours and thirty minutes show has arrived direct from a sell out season on Broadway.  'The Book of Mormon' is one of the most loved London Westend shows and has broken many box office records. The show is the winner of prestigious 9 Tony Awards such as Best Musical, Best Book, Best Score and Best Director.


The show is running with houseful shows at the Prince of Wales theatre. The hugely talented team of long running comedy ‘South Park’ Trey Parker and Matt Stone penned the show, along with Robert Lopez co-creator of cheeky hit musical Avenue Q. The Book of Mormon is original, witty as well as surprising. In the year 2011, the show made its debut on Broadway at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre. The show has received rave reviews from press across the globe and enjoyed sensational sell out US National Tour.


The Book of Mormon is set against the backdrop of Salt Lake City where two Mormon Elders have been sent to Uganda for missionary duties. Their arrival on small African village has to face a lot of hostility as their own beliefs have been challenged. The ribtickling London musical is all about mission, friendships and relationships with wonderful score, along with a combination of a witty book and awesome choreography.


The memorable production features Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner star as Elder Price and Elder Cunningham. They have portrayed the roles on the US National tour and joined by Alexa Khadime as Nabulungi. Under the superb direction of Casey Nicholaw and Trey Parker, The Book of Mormon is a complete treat for theatre lovers. With Musical Direction by Stephen Oremus, the show is an enjoyable experience.


Due to incredibly bad language and content, few people may find the show offensive. It is not recommended for children as there is usage of offensive language and adult themes.
