Import your Outlook account details to Gmail

You need to transfer the data from your Outlook account to Gmail. Firstly transfer the Outlook emails to your Gmail mailbox. Then transfer the Outlook contacts to your Gmail contacts. This will complete the transfer of your Outlook account to Gmail.

Transfer of Outlook emails to Gmail
• Firstly enable the IMAP in your Gmail account.
• Next to sync your Gmail address via IMAP, configure the Outlook account.
• Save your Outlook PST file in some other personal folder other than Gmail inbox.
• Click on File, then Import and Export, then Import from another program or file, followed by Next, then Personal Folder File (.pst) and finally Next to move forward.
• Now select those PST files which contain the emails, then the email folder you want to transfer and click finally click Finish.
Import Outlook contacts to Gmail
• Go to the Outlook inbox and click Mail, followed by Contacts.
• Now click on ‘More’ and from the dropdown select ‘Export…’
• Next click on ‘File’ and then ‘Import/Export’.
• Now Import/Export wizard will appear. Select ‘Import from another program or file’ and then click ‘Next’.
• In the next page choose ‘Comma Separated Values’ and click ‘Next’ to move forward.
• Now select the Gmail contacts as the destination folder.
• Click ‘Finish’ and all your contacts are transferred in your Gmail account.
